Every time there is a big meeting in Mint’s office, they lay out a spread of assorted mini brownies and other such bite sized goodies for the employees. And each time Mint bites into the little brownies and then saves the remaining bite sized bit for me. He puts away the half eaten pieces of little assorted cakes in his lunch box to bring home to me. I find it incredibly sweet.
A lot of times he comes home and says “I got something for you baby”, and then hands me his lunch box. I open it to find a variety of tiny, half eaten pieces of cake lying in there. Sometimes the pieces are so tiny, its laughable. Yet, he thinks of saving those bites for me. It makes me melt. They’re a reminder of his thoughtfulness and the fact that he wants to share all his delights with me.
I happened to mention this to a friend I was chatting with, and she said, ‘What? He smuggles the tiny, half eaten brownies from his office in his lunch box and brings them home to you? Haha, that’s weird”
Weird? Perhaps it is. It instantly reminded me of this picture I had seen.
So this one is dedicated to my favourite weirdo.

About smuggling goodies – H does it all the time, but with fruits! They have a assorted fruit basket for employees in their company and he knows I am a passionate fruit lover 🙂

If bringing half eaten muffins and cakes from office is considered weird then count me in. I do it too. G works from home most of the time while I go to work everyday. Whenever there is goodies available at work, I bring it for the kids and him.

I certainly don’t consider it weird.. But then, apparently some people do. More than the idea of bringing the stuff back home, my friend thought the ‘half eaten’ part was weird. I should tell her how many people consider that to be normal 🙂

About Mint?? He’s a precious gem. Hold onto him. I am yet to comment on your in-laws post, but hear this. For this guy, if you have to tolerate difficult parents because that’s part of the package…I’d say u do it gladly with no cribbing. He’s worth it.

He is a precious gem. And totally worth the difficult parents and a lot more. I don’t know how obvious it is, but I am quite crazy about that guy 😀 Even though he really pisses me off sometimes.

Awwwwww that’s so sweet of him. I’d melt if my hubby ever did that to me. Sadly, he very rarely thinks of it. 😦 I am the one who carries little bite-sized pieces of all the goodies I get in my office, and take them back to him. I want him to share everything that I do and like and love.
I see it as plain love and romance and sweet, and not weird at all.
