I have no idea 😐 WP has been driving me nuts off late. Random comments end up in my spam folder. My email gets flooded with posts of blogs I did not subscribe to. Some other comments disappear. I need help myself.

A lurker.! Ok, a delurker.!
Absolutely fell in love with your writing. And you must know, I have been checking your blog link every day for the past three months or so.. its just become a random habit, like people refresh their fb account link, I just keep going to peppered thoughts. Infact there came a time when the computer history forgot my own blog link but remembered yours. 😛
I am a new addition to the blog world, and if I might add your and celestial rays blog kind of encouraged me to start writing one on my own. So thank you. 🙂

As many people must have told you, your write beautifully and have so much to tell :). Also I feel you and Mint are very lucky to have found such love for each other. It does not happen with everyone. Can you give me the password to your peppermint story. Would love to read more about you. -Madhu

Hey, thanks so much Madhu! I cringe a little when I read my old posts because of the erratic punctuation, but then they are a true depiction of a younger me. 🙂 I know I have a lot to say. Sometimes I wonder how I don’t shut up. Anyway, thanks!
Which post are you talking about? Let me look it up and I will try and mail you.
Divz said
Ms. Pepper,
I am done! Yes, I am done reading all your posts from the beginning till the end..I mean till the present month.
I must say I completely enjoyed every bit of it, I relate to a lot of the things you mention and also pondered upon some of the goofy, geeky yet thought provoking stuff you wrote about.
Actually, I am new to the world of blogging and started reading food blogs to learn preparing different kinds of food for my toddler daughter ( yes, I’m a mom, though still a kid at heart like you) and then started reading mad momma, the blue bride and now your blog.
I live in US and have been contemplating a lot about moving back home or staying here to give my daughter better opportunities. Me and my husband are still deciding what to do though and yes, it’s a very tricky situation 😦
Anyway, I want to congratulate you for doing such a great job with your blog and I must admit, I have learnt a thing ot two reading your blogs..like how to deal with some of the irritating stuff my husband does which makes me angry but I see you take such things lightly or look at the flip side which I forget to do sometimes.
Also, about your decision to move back to India has made me thoughts wander in the same direction and I keep imagining how wonderful life could be if I lived near my folks and yet managed to have a comfortable life in India.
I will now be a regular..keep the posts coming..
cheers,
Divya
Pepper said
What a lovely comment, Divya. And wow, reading the full blog must have been a task.
Regarding the move back to India, that is really a very difficult decision. Almost everybody you speak to will ask you to not do it. Till date, a lot of people call me stupid. But ultimately, you have to think of what you really want. Living in India is not easy at all, and if you are even thinking about it, be adequately prepared for what could be in store 🙂 Having said that, I think living close to family is the best feeling ever and it makes it all very worth it for me.
Good

Hello Pepper,
I have come across your blog via IHM blogs comment… I read most of your posts and was touched by them. I was particularly interested in reading more on your decision to be closer to your family and relocate back to India. I thought and thought to go back one day and I may never will. I loved your strong sense of being connected to family and going back sooner than later. Most of my friends have moved back to India. No matter how ever one thinks life is easy here .. I feel foreign and feels like I does not fit here and long for being back with my parents the most.
I always miss home and yet can never make a decision of going back for the choices I have made and I still cannot come to terms with everything that has happened in my life so far.
Loved reading your blog.. it is great 🙂
Pepper said
Thanks Hidden Passions. Whether to move back to India or not is one of the toughest decisions to make. I know a few people who moved to India and realised they couldn’t take the life here. They moved back to the US (or the country they were staying in) shortly after. I always tell people – life in India is not easy. Do it only if you have a strong motivating factor. Only if you have some high point that will compensate for all the combined lows. Otherwise you will hate it here.
If you can’t come to terms with the thought of moving to India, I think it is completely okay to make peace with the idea of living elsewhere forever 🙂

Ended up here through MM’s lovely blog. And boy! Am I glad that I did.
I am to get married in two weeks time. Will be shifting to a new city, quit my job yesterday, bid farewell to friends, melancholy is in the air and right now sitting outside a quaint dhaba, taking a chai break, as I travel back to my hometown – a teeny tiny hill station in north India.
So much going on in My mind that I am sort of losing it and Amidst all this your blog seems to be talking to me.
I Haven’t yet read all your posts.. But the ones I did were Pretty very insightful.
I Will definitely come back for more.. It was nice ending up here just by chance..
